Sarah Jane works on projects related to online programs, and assists in researching, implementing, and supporting technologies across all CNDLS digital learning efforts.
As the Digital Learning Specialist, Sarah Jane helps improve the instructional experience for learners and faculty through researching technological advances and innovative pedagogical principles. She collaborates and consults with faculty and staff to explore new educational tool requests and resolve technical issues. She is also involved in testing and piloting various emerging technologies that potentially enrich learning and teaching experiences in virtual, blended, and in-class settings. She documents and produces instructional how-to-guides on different platforms and tools, and in turn communicates innovative pedagogies and emerging technologies to faculty, staff, and students.
Sarah Jane has an MA in Digital Technologies, Communication, and Education from the University of Manchester. She also holds a BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special and Gifted Education from the American University of Beirut.
