Our Staff

Mindy McWilliams is Associate Director for Assessment at Georgetown University's Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, where she assesses the impact of teaching with technology, curricular and program impact, and most recently, non-cognitive aspects of learning. She is co-PI on Georgetown's Formation by Design Project, which promotes a learner-centered, design-based approach to reinventing our institutions around whole person development. Her passion is to employ qualitative and quantitative methods to gain information about student learning in order to help define, design and evaluate impact of learning.

Mindy’s publications include an Assessment Toolkit for Universities’ Humanitarian Engagements funded by a three-year Teagle grant, a case study on Georgetown University’s Engelhard Program in Transforming Undergraduate Education: Theory that Compels and Practices that Succeed, and contributions to the POD-IDEA Center Notes on Instruction.
