Our Staff

MC is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Biology department who advocates for contextual comprehension and scientific literacy in Biology and Non-Major Sciences. At CNDLS, he serves as a STEM Pedagogy Specialist where he supports inclusive pedagogy initiatives, working closely with STEM faculty.

He's particularly interested in incorporating a social-engagement and empathy-building syllabus into content-intensive courses, and has subject specialization in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and General Science Education. Prior to career in teaching, MC has 15 years of experience in primary biomedical research.
