Ambika, a Fulbright Scholar, joined the Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT) cohort in 2022. Her interests revolve around the mission of "Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi," or "Three Pillars of Higher Education: Comprising Education, Research and Community Service," and she has been engaged with the Social Innovation Project in Singapore since 2014. The program aims to solve local SMEs' economic and social issues using the design thinking module with fellow faculties and multidisciplinary students across Asia. Prior to attending Georgetown University, she worked as a program coordinator for the International Relation office in the Confucius Institute, China, for education and cultural exchange.
Currently, she is shifting her career trajectory into digital learning. Aside from doing the independent study for learning in application development under the mentorship of Yianna Vovides, Ambika is also one of the Graduate Associates at CNDLS, supporting the Online Program team. On this team, she's able to bridge her studies in the LDT program with online program development work.
